Timothy J. Farley, Partner

Timothy Farley was born and raised in Yakima, Washington graduating from Eisenhower High School in 1977. He obtained his associate’s degree from Yakima Valley Community College after receiving a scholarship for basketball and baseball.

While attending high school and college, Mr. Farley worked for Nordstrom as a sales representative. He continued working for Nordstrom while he obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington in 1985 and his law degree from the University of Puget Sound in 1988.

Mr. Farley began his legal career as a Law Clerk for a King County Superior Court Judge and then worked as a Public Defender developing the skills of a trial attorney. In 1993 he joined Allstate Insurance Company and thereafter Travelers’ Insurance Company working his way up from Staff Attorney to Senior Trial Attorney. Mr. Farley has extensive jury trial experience along with excellent customer service skills which serve his clients well. Mr. Farley co-founded Farley & Dimmock in 2002. He recently achieved a $1,400,000.00 settlement of a wrongful death/liquor liability action.

Andrew S. Dimmock, Partner

Andrew Dimmock has practiced law in the State of Washington since 1987. For the last ten years he has worked exclusively in the areas of personal injury and workers’ compensation.

Regarding personal injury law, Andrew began as an attorney for car insurance companies. He started as a staff attorney for Allstate Insurance Company and then created the in-house legal department for Progressive Insurance Company for the State of Washington. Andrew now devotes his practice to injured people. His background of working on the insurance side is a tremendous asset in understanding how insurance companies operate and value claims.

Regarding workers’ compensation (Department of Labor and Industries) law, Andrew has represented nearly a thousand different claimants. Farley & Dimmock, LLC, are aggressive in pursuit of benefits owed their injured worker clients. Andrew has successfully handled numerous appeals to the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals resulting in many reversals of orders of the Department of Labor and Industries.

Andrew obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont (1983). He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Washington Law School (1987). Andrew lives in Edmonds, Washington, where he is always happily married to Dina Dimmock and usually the proud father of three children (Samuel, Thomas, and Olivia).


Sylvia Edwards, Paralegal

Sylvia has lived in the Everett area for over 14 years. After working as a dental assistant she entered the legal field and quickly progressed through the ranks to her current position of workers’ compensation paralegal. Since 1999, she has exclusively handled injured workers claims in Washington. She has worked on thousands of worker’s compensation cases both with the Department of Labor and Industries and self-insured employers like Boeing, the City of Everett, and many others. Sylvia is dedicated to expertly handling injured workers’ claims for Farley & Dimmock.

Joanne Carlson, Paralegal

Joanne is a life-long resident of Snohomish County: she is a graduate of Everett High School and now resides in Marysville. Joanne has specialized as a paralegal for injured workers for over six years. Joanne has helped more than a thousand industrially injured claimants. She relishes the challenge of solving problems for her injured worker clients. Joanne is dedicated to expertly handling injured workers’ claims for Farley & Dimmock.
